Vincent Sabatier (born 1971) is a French artist who lives and works in Montpellier. A graduate of the Beaux-Arts, he first explored fashion design and communications before devoting himself fully to art in 2009. He then developed a unique process combining screen printing and resin, which he patented. His work is based on a play of superimpositions and unexpected insertions, giving rise to vibrant, dynamic works. As part of a Neo-Pop Art approach, he combines sculpture and painting, exploring the contrasts between transparency and opacity. His creations incorporate elements from popular culture, notably through his roboclusions, compositions in which iconic figurines and objects are encapsulated in resin. These works, rich in material and lighting effects, revisit collective references with a contemporary and playful approach.
